Cosmogonies

How did the cosmos begin? Where did the universe come from? Where and whence lie the origin of myriad things? Cosmogonies provide a story of such beginnings. They order the world and its beings and relate them to each other. All peoples - poets, physicists, philosophers, prophets, merchants, politicians, and everyone else - believe in some cosmogony or the other whether they are aware of it or not.
